Title: Mixed Experience at Radisson Blu Fujairah Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2 out of 5) My group's recent stay at Radisson Blu Fujairah was a mix of highs and lows, and unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of the expectations associated with the Radisson brand. Negatives: Check-in Hassle: Arriving at noon, we expected a smooth check-in process. Rooms were just finally allocated at 3:30 pm, the frustration escalated when we discovered that the all-inclusive bands, a crucial part of our stay, were only distributed after all guests had settled into their rooms. When questioned, the concierge explained rudely that this distribution was scheduled for 3:00 pm, adding an unnecessary level of inconvenience. It's worth mentioning that our group has had positive experiences staying at other hotels in the past year. These establishments not only provided complimentary early check-ins at 12 pm but also graciously upgraded all rooms. This comparison accentuates the contrast in service and highlights the expectations we had based on our previous experiences. Unfriendly Staff: The staff lacked the expected warmth and treated guests as an inconvenience, which significantly diminished the overall experience. VIP Disappointment: Despite informing them about a VIP guest, the room provided was not ready, and upon arrival, it was in disarray, leaving a negative impression. Dinner Reservation Issues: The allocated dinner space for our group of 40 was poorly managed. Dark surroundings and inadequate reservation notes on tables led to chaos as uninvolved guests occupied reserved seats. Breakfast Service: While we were informed to fetch our own coffee and hot chocolate, adjacent tables were served by staff, creating an inconsistent service experience. Key Card Problems: Some of the key cards malfunctioned, but the reluctance to send replacements to the room forced guest to collect them from the reception. Service Incidents: Witnessing buggy drivers arguing over drop-off locations directly in front of guests is not the level of professionalism one expects. Limited Food Options: The food options, especially for vegetarians, were disappointingly limited. Positives: Beautiful Property: The property itself is aesthetically pleasing, with breathtaking views. Helpful Recreation Team: Mahmoud and the recreation team stood out for their helpful and accommodating nature. Friendly Lounge Staff: Staff at the lounge were friendly and went the extra mile to assist. Commendable Individuals: Special mention to Safu and the Breeze restaurant supervisor, who were helpful despite the oversight in reservation arrangements. Conclusion: Despite some positives, the overall stay at Radisson Blu Fujairah was affected by service issues, communication lapses, and a lack of attention to detail. Improvement in these areas would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. As a regular visitor to various hotels, including those under the Radisson umbrella, I believe there's room for enhancement in service standards to meet the brand's expectations.

Nice property to relax with family, beautiful scenery. Choice of food is extremely limited in the buffet and the taste is not great. Though a la carte menu from Masala Restaurant is delicious
