This hotel has seen better days. Rooms are poorly maintained (carpets are stained, fixtures broken), and the quality of the basic amenities (toiletries, etc) is extremely low. Room decor is awful and quite depressing (fluorescent hospital style lighting for eg). Room service food is acceptable. For the price, it is terrible value. Won’t be staying here again.

Nice hotel. Reason for stars was they have an "old" front and "new" back - meaning actual buildings. You enter into old part and rooms show it (no rooms have much of a view - surrounded by other buildings). Lots of amenities (excellent gym, pool). Really good eat/drink options - dessert cafe, nice little bar, restaurant, breakfast area, a tea room. Close to all kinds of things (walking) - big park with botanical garden, paddle boat pond, dog park, etc.; Supermaxi next to that (supermarket and mall in one); lots of food (Cyrils - chocolate!), little convenience store, farmacias (yes, the Spanish rubs off on you after a while if you don't habla), and more.
