Really impressed with the Amata Garden Resort. ||From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The resort boasted a beautiful entrance and grounds, with lovely evening lighting. ||The staff were attentive, helpful and spoke brilliant English. As we understand the majority were employed from the local villages as well which is a lovely initiative. ||The bedrooms were spacious, clean and decorated very well with all the amenities you need. There was a safe and a fridge as well as good quality linens, towels and gowns to use.||The pool area was lovely and the perfect place to relax after a busy day in the sun exploring the temples. ||Breakfast was a good selection of food with many choices and eggs made us o the order. We also ate at the hotel in the evening and whilst delicious, the Thai curry was a little on the salty side. We also enjoyed a glass of local red wine which was surprisingly nice but it was served cold from the fridge which was a bit unusual. The bartender said it was because they only had one fridge at the poolside bar which was at a cold temperature. As a suggestion maybe next time they could just serve the red wine from the fridge in the restaurant at room temperature, it's a bit more enjoyable or ask the customer first if they'd like it cold.||There is a gym on site but it is very basic and could do with some improvements. Lots of potential as it has a lovely view but it looks unfinished.||Other than those small niggles with the food and wine which are minimal and basic gym, it was a brilliant place to stay. We absolutely loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat.
