We had the best time at Maison Du Nord. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you are enjoying your stay. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Their breakfast is fresh and has a variety of different delicious options. The crepes are my favourite. They even invited us an authentic Mauritian dinner and it was one of the best we had the whole holiday! While in Mauritius we stayed at one other BIG "5 star" resort on the West of the island and we enjoyed this resort a lot more as its staff service was far better and way more personal, the rooms bigger and the pool less crowded. The hotel management is superb and will assist you in getting transport around the island to enjoy all the Mauritius has to offer. Look no further. This resort is close to the hustle and bustle of Gand bay but far enough to be quite and relaxed, with a beach just a 15 min walk away. Highly recommended!
Incredibly nice hotel manager and staff! Great breakfast with fresh products. If you are planning an excursion, be sure to ask here. Everything is organized and is much cheaper than on the Internet. Rooms are large, new and clean, but not so cozy. I would recommend a few pictures on the wall and the addition of a small kitchenette.
