Dubai's skyscrapers, massive retail malls, and five-star hotels are constantly evolving. And 2023 will be no exception, with a handful of new hotels debuting in Dubai this year. These are the spiciest luxury hotel openings in Dubai in 2023. Some you can already book!

Atlantis, The Royal
The launch of Atlantis, The Royal, is one of Dubai's most intriguing future openings. This is a major new addition to the city, with a 90m high sky pool and a variety of beautiful rooms, suites, and trademark penthouses with breathtaking views of the Dubai cityscape and the Arabian Sea.
La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Nobu by the Beach, chef José Andrés serves his cuisine at Jaleo Dubai, and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Ling Ling Dubai is on the 23rd level.
Atlantis The Royal

Atlantis The Royal, located on the crescent of the Palm Island in Dubai, next to Atlantis, The Palm, and Aquaventure Waterpark, offers access to Aquaventure, the Middle East's largest waterpark, 17 restaurants, and bars, nightclubs, show fountain, outdoor swimming pools, beach clubs, a state-of-the-art spa, and free private parking. This 5-star resort includes a sky pool, a private beach, a 24-hour front desk, room service, and currency exchange. Some rooms also have a kitchenette with a minibar.
Rooms, Suites, and Signature Penthouses at Atlantis The Royal provide views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island. Private balconies, patios, and pools are available.

Bab Al Shams Desert Resort
Bab Al Shams, although not technically a new hotel, returned in early February 2023 after being closed since May 2022.
A major makeover is underway, as is the addition of a new modern Arabic restaurant, rooftop lounge, and outdoor cafe. There is a desert spa with a hammam, plunge pool, and couple's treatment room, in line with the resort's previous desert relaxing motif.
Bab Al Shams Desert Resort - Dubai

FIVE LUXE
FIVE LUXE is the newest location in the portfolio, brought to you by the same company that brought you party hotels FIVE Palm Jumeirah and FIVE Jumeirah Village. It will open in 2023 in JBR, where the Corinthia Meydan used to be.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab
This new Jumeirah resort was inspired by a mega yacht. The hotel, which will be located next to the Burj Al Arab, will feature its own private beach as well as 386 rooms and 83 hotel apartments. Naturally, as a Jumeirah hotel, it will be accompanied by various fantastic restaurants.
Kempinski Floating Palace
As the name suggests, this new hotel will float on the Arabian Gulf. There will be 156 rooms, 12 luxury villas, and 12 glass boat homes on the sea just off Jumeirah Beach Road, as well as high-end restaurants, boutique stores, and a spa. Yacht owners will be able to dock here and make use of the five-star amenities.
Mama Shelter
Mama Shelter is a quirky budget-friendly hotel in Paris with locations in London and Prague. The hotel, which will open in Dubai in 2023, will include 197 rooms, each with a unique design. NH Dubai The Palm
Anantara Hotels recently opened a new hotel on Palm Jumeirah this year. The Hotel NH Dubai The Palm is placed in the new Seven Palm project's South Tower, which also includes flats in the North Tower. The two buildings are linked by a distinctively constructed infinity pool, which appears to be the new hotel's selling point.
NH Collection Dubai The Palm

This two-tower hotel, designed by Nikken Sekkei, is set to open in Za'abeel, near Bur Dubai. The structure will provide 360-degree views of the city, restaurants, and a luxury swimming pool deck.
SO/Uptown Dubai
A massive new skyscraper tower is set to open in JLT, including a five-star luxury hotel with 188 rooms and business space. The design is overseen by Ralph & Russo, so you can anticipate it to be stylish.
The Lana
The Lana, formerly The Dorchester, has moved inside the block-shaped structure. With 225 rooms and views of the Burj Khalifa, this is expected to be one of the year's most grand openings. Gilles et Boissier, interior designers, were inspired by the seas of Business Bay and Emirati culture. On the 18th level, there will also be an evening restaurant and a patisserie.
