Ascent. Located at Eden Mall in Sheikh Zayed This one’s for those who seem more confident and interested in free climbing and bouldering routes. That’s not to say beginners aren’t welcome but they will be of great interest to those with a love for the sport already.

Visit The Great Pyramids Of Giza

Nile Kayak Club. No matter where you’re visiting in Cairo, it’s likely you'll be near one of the three branches across the city: Maadi, Manial Shiha or Dokki.  They only offer this on weekends, so keep that in mind so you don't miss out on this great opportunity. 

Zamalek Kayak. If you want picturesque and close proximity to Zamaek, then you are in for a treat, as they provide transparent kayaks. You can have 360-degree views of Cairo and the beautiful Nile, which is open to tourists and the general public. 

Cairow Watersports. As the name suggests, this place doesn’t just offer kayaking but has something for everyone. They offer windsurfing and SUP and welcome beginners, intermediate and advanced sessions. 

Ahimsa. This would be a more suitable place for kayak enthusiasts; they offer other experiences and wellness services such as yoga workshops and retreats, to name a few.

Khan el Khalil

Practise your haggling skills at one of the most famous markets located in Egypt’s capital city. The labyrinthine structure offers more than just a shopping trip but a whole experience; it houses hundreds of independent stalls selling everything from spices to hand-made jewellery. 

Marvel at the Abdeen Palace Museum 

In the heart of old Cairo, the magnificent museum once home to Eygpt’s royal family now acts as the president's official residence and workplace.

The Egyptian Museum 

It would be a shame not to soak up the unmissable attraction that is the Egyptian Museum, full of archaeology artefacts and history alike. Located next to the Nile, it is the world's largest collection of pharaonic history.
