The Abu Dhabi Edition

This hotel boasts an amazing design and architecture, truly unique in every way. The interiors are excellent, creating a relaxing ambiance. There are two pools—one on the rooftop with a stunning view of the marina, and another on the ground floor.||However, I must admit that the service left me a bit disappointed. While check-in was okay, the crew’s attitude felt unwelcoming, perhaps due to the busy season. I had booked an Edition Escape package, expecting a room with a marina view. Instead, I was assigned a low corner room overlooking the trees at Alba. Despite this, the room itself was cozy and beautiful. While the overall service was satisfactory and most of the staff were friendly and polite, there was a noticeable gap in personalized service, something that luxury hotels typically excel at. Unfortunately, despite the website indicating that the offer package includes crafted cocktails at Alba and a complimentary drink at the Library, we were never actually provided with these amenities during our stay. Luckily we enjoyed nightcaps at the Library, where Ronny and Ryan took excellent care of us. ||Breakfasts at the Market were pleasant, although there were occasional order mix-ups. In-room dining was superb, especially their pizza. The food at Alba Terrace was equally amazing, although there were some communication hiccups with the staff. Fortunately, Roshan, one of the staff members, exceeded our expectations. His service was top-notch, and he went out of his way to assist us and provide valuable information about other Editions.||In summary, this hotel is truly unique and excellent, but there’s room for improvement in terms of luxury service. Despite that, we look forward to visiting again in the future.
