We’ve just arrived and all I can say is yuk. Check in was quick and efficient. Basic unappealing room. Chaise lounge stained and dirty. Armchair stained and dirty. I don’t want to sit on either. I feel dirty. Not a window as such just a rectangular piece of glass approx 2 metres by 1 metre high stuck in the wall. No view, dirty glass and filthy sill. Bathroom tiny, basic, unappealing. Water runs all over floor in front of toilet from shower. Vanity not clean and scratched and uninviting. One very small inefficient bath mat. Towels ordinary. We paid almost $20.00 above advertised price because quote “school holidays” unquote. On the plus side it’s very close to my specialist whom I see tomorrow morning so only have to endure 1 night. Disappointing. Postscript: I’ve read thru a lot of the reviews and I can see some are falling on deaf ears. Chairs ARE badly stained, no indication this common complaint has been addressed. This is Australia guys, how about getting your act together PPS further to my review which is getting to be more like a blog. I just found the tiny basic bathroom has a unique feature. The shower screen is hinged to open in or out. Just found out it’s hinged to open in so that one can actually have room to sit on the toilet without one’s knees touching the screen. Of course to have a shower the screen then needs to be adjusted to the normal closed position.
