Old time luxury in the heart of Brisbane. We only stayed the one night while transiting to our honeymoon and I was blown away by our experience and customer service received. Even though we were staying just the one night we were treated to a lovely dessert platter and room with an excellent view. Everything was immaculate - amazing customer service, delicious room service food and buffet breakfast, luxurious towels, linens and antique furniture and quite possibly the plushest and most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Pool, gym and location were top notch. The only fault is the entrance which is a little lacking in grandeur (or at least the entrance we came in), but that is very minor. Loved the soothing classical music in the lobby as well as the grandiose staircase. Highly recommend!

My experience at this place was ok, although I don't think I would return giving the amount we spent for a rather simple dish with long wait times. I feel the atmosphere could do with a bit of a shake-up, and service could definitely be improved. We waited over 15 minutes for a simple beer and wine order. The restaurant has the potential to be great. Hopefully, things get sorted.
