Overall a great resort with ample amenities and really good pool. The on site gym is abit small but better than nothing. Buffet breakfast was really good value and quality. Only let down was the rooms in the tower all smelt really damp and moldy had to move rooms and second one was slightly better. Perhaps rooms with balconies are better as they would have more airflow as no windows can be opened in the tower.

This is our 2nd time staying at Crystalbrook and I am torn as to whether we would stay again. The resort is lux. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are great, the buffet breakfast was really good but we really struggled with the pool this trip (last trip must not have been during a busy period). The pool area is stunning but guests were putting towels and belongings on the beds at 7.30-8am and disappearing for a few hours. It was extremely frustrating getting to the pool at 9am and all the beds were taken but no people at the pool. I suggest during the busy times, a staff member be rostered to the pool and move belongings of people who are not utilising the pool and perhaps leaving a “do not leave belongings unattended or they will be moved to reception by staff” sign on the bed. (We managed to get a bed at 8am one day and 4 beds were taken infront of us before 8am. The family left their stuff there and didn’t show up until 2pm - this is unacceptable and a staff member ‘working the pool’ needs to identify this and more their belongings so other guest do not miss out on a day by the pool). The fitness centre is also not at a good enough standard for the quality of this resort and needs some money spent on it. I had to obtain a membership from a local gym as it did not suffice.
