The best part of this lodge is the restaurant! 🤩 It was a pleasant surprise to find a hotel quality restaurant in a lodge. The dining experience was a delight, commendations and complements to the chef! The pork belly salad is a highly recommended entree with great flavour. I can just have that again as my main dish! The wagyu burger is generous and beefy, with the sauce is on the sweet side, which I didn't really mind. The accommodation is neat and tidy but it's already showing signs of ageing. I was in 103 and the toilet does not have enough flushing power that I had to press the flush three times to fully drain. However, it's not a deal breaker. Each room is equipped with a spacious desk space, a couch and a mini kitchen. The toilet has a functionally hot shower (contrary to other reviews). Checking in is fast and efficient. The free WiFi internet has no password so you can just connect and enjoy the the connection as soon as you arrive. The location is perfect because it is along the main road and you have access to Woolworths and Aldi. I don't mind going back if only to eat again in that delightful restaurant! 😍
