I followed the instructions to park in the 5-minute parking area in front of the apartment. However, the parking spots were already occupied for more than 30 minutes. When I checked in, I requested a parking space from the receptionist. She informed me that all parking spaces were reserved for the night, which was surprising as both their website and the booking agency had stated that reservations were not possible. She explained that customers had called to reserve parking. She assured me that parking would be available the next day. On the following day, I returned to the reception and reserved a parking slot, paying $50 for it. However, when I came back from a day trip, there was no parking space available. I had to spend an extra 30 minutes at the reception reporting the issue and requesting a refund. The receptionist mentioned that they would contact me once they received confirmation, although it was not clear what they were confirming. The apartment itself appeared quite old, with signs of wear and tear. I even found a tiny cockroach in the bathroom. Surprisingly, no toiletries were provided. Additionally, the practice of putting a $200 hold on a credit card seemed outdated. The fridge was dirty, with visible marks on the shelving. While the apartment claimed to have 24-hour reception, I found it challenging to get in touch with anyone when I needed assistance. They had an information sheet suggesting guests download an app to call the reception for free. I followed these instructions, but the app requested a QR code for configuration, which was nowhere to be found in the room, despite the sheet stating it should be located there. Furthermore, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door at 9:30, inquiring about my check-out time, even though the standard check-out time was 10 am. This was rather inconvenient and felt unprofessional. I reached out to their sales and service departments via email on two occasions to express my concerns about the parking issue but received no response or refund. Consequently, I had to involve my bank to dispute the transaction. It's possible that this review may be removed by the page owner, but I want to strongly advise against booking a stay at this establishment.
Avoid. Room was not cleaned at all during 9 night stay even after mentioning it to reception. Ended up asking for new linen to do it myself. Looking at other reviews this appearances to be a common occurrence. No remote control for one TV, the other was gaffer tapped together. No tea towel or oven mitt. Bed was two single beds pushed together with a very noticeable join felt through the sheets. TV in bedroom was tiny. Tap in bathroom leaked so there was constant dripping. One burner on stove didn’t work. Curtain in lounge room had partially come off railing so didn’t fully cover the door. Lights were a mix of cool white and warm white - bedside lamp was a very bright cool white globe. Only 3 clothes hangers. Power sockets behind desk practically at the same height as the desk so had to move desk out from wall to actually use them. I’m sure there’s more I’ve forgotten/blocked from my memory.
