Ticks all the boxes and some. Great location within walking distance of many Hobart attractions. Highly recommend using the hotel valet if you are driving and need to park your car as the price for a night is not much more than parking yourself overnight. Checking in and out was seamless although our room was not quite ready at the 2pm check in time, the staff was kind enough to offer some welcome drinks for the very minor inconvenience. Room were spacious and well equipped. The modern decor made it look and feel more luxurious than its price point and the floor to ceiling windows framing the gorgeous view of the mountains and harbour just elevated the whole experience. The gym though small was decently equipped. The restaurant staff were really attentive and seemed like they really loved their jobs which made the experience extra pleasant. Kids had free ice cream anytime and the chocolate happy hour in the afternoons were an added bonus. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Hobart.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Movenpick for 4 nights. The location was fantastic, short walk to the wharf, markets, city. We had a package with breakfast, drinks, late checkout and chocolate hour. The breakfast was fantastic, the almond croissants on the first morning were the best I've ever had! Our room was lovely, the only disappointment is that our beautiful large window was fully blocked by a brick wall straight next to it! We would definitely stay again, the staff were friendly and so helpful.
