My wife and I recently stayed at the Mount Buffalo caravan park for 1 night only, and we were delighted with our experience. This place truly is the best kept secret in town! The park was exceptional. From the well-maintained grounds and the spotless facilities. The Ovens River running alongside the park is a beautiful feature. We stayed in the Superior 2 Bedroom Cabin, and it exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spacious providing us with ample room to relax and unwind. Sitting on the veranda while the sun slowly set enjoying the complimentary biscuits and hot chocolate was magic. One of the standout aspects of our visit was the service we received from the staff in the office, particularly from Melissa and Dee. Thank you, girls. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We have already booked our next stay for 4 nights. Looking forward to our next visit.
We had a memorable camping trip at Mount Buffalo Discovery Park from December 23-26. The location was beyond beautiful and the amenities were spotless. However, our experience was marred by the receptionist, Dee. Her passive-aggressive attitude was not appreciated, especially when she deactivated our entry codes because we didn’t enter every car’s exit code at the boom gates due to the heavy rain. It was raining heavily and we had to go through a lot of hassle because of this. Her rudeness continued throughout our stay, which was quite disappointing. The first day was hot, around 30 degrees, yet she took the AC remote from the camp kitchen to her office. When we asked for it back, she returned it with a passive-aggressive attitude and unnecessary comments. The location is amazing, but the customer service needs serious improvement. Despite this, I would still recommend the park, but with reservations.
