I stayed on Chritmas Eve night in a one bedroom suite, a last minute booking, so was given a nice room on the 22nd floor, only had a view of Pitt st with a tiny balcony but still not bad. Great location for Town Hall station, as well George St cinemas and surrounds. Very clean, and definitely ok for 1 person, only a couple of small issues, thr water only came out of the middle of the showerhead which i feel has better days and the plates and cups qere kept in a high cupboard that couldnt reach considering i was under 6 feet tall.

I selected this hotel for my stay in Sydney because it was described as a hip and modern 5⭐️ hotel. I've stayed at many 5⭐️ hotels around the world, and I would say this should be a 3 ⭐️ at best. It does not feel luxurious. The room itself is cold and dated: inexpensive tiled floor with a crooked rug--no plush carpeting in sight; the seating (sofa and dining chairs) were cheap and uncomfortable; and the bedsheets felt papery rather than posh. Insulation is poor--you can hear everything outside the door, especially other doors slamming. I stayed in a corner suite with a huge outdoor terrace which was probably twice the size of the room itself, but it was sparsely furnished with just an outdoor bistro table and chairs that hadn't been dusted and crammed into a corner. The rest of the space felt like an alleyway. The bathroom was outdated, and you could hear the water draining beneath the tile floor. One thing I liked was that there was a washer & dryer, so I was able to pack clean clothes--I just had to buy detergent. Location is good. It's within walking distance of shopping, attractions, restaurants and bars. If I visit Sydney again, I'd choose a different hotel.
