I actually really liked this hotel. You need to take into account that they are having a refurb in 2024 and really need one. We were very comfortable here, great room layout for a family, we had connecting junior suites, right on the front so great view. There are 3 smallish pools, we didn't really have a problem with sunbeds but there was some early towel action. The beach out front is quite narrow and can shrink if the sea is rough, you can walk around each end and get to larger beaches. They do have a strict 1 pool towel a day policy but we dried a few over night and so had a right collect by the end. The food was very good, my kids got on really well with the buffet and most evenings there was live music. We didn't eat in every evening as some amazing restaurants up the coast, was good to mix it up. Some people had a lot of complaints but honestly I don't. Yes sometimes there were no plates at the buffet but they came quickly, some times they ran out of dishes but more soon turned up. Very generous with all the drinks, all day coffee and snacks available. Shabby but very comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location but sadly is tired and in desperate need of more than just tlc. It is apparently closing next year for a refurbishment so as long you go aware of this and hopefully with a price tag the reflects it then I’m sure it will be fine. Room with balcony was really nice. We had a lovely week overall but mainly down to its location and lovely weather. Many (not all) of the staff seemed miserable and fed up and we didn’t realise how low they seemed until we went for a meal at their sister hotel Waves where the staff were totally different. Happy smiling couldn’t do enough for us and very aware people were there to have a happy holiday. |Can’t blame the staff, I suspect lack of motivation from higher up the management chain or at least that’s how it came over.|The food was OK, breakfast comprehensive and a variety of egg options cooked by a superstar who had to work under very hot conditions with only a couple of small camping gas stoves to cook on! (Come on management!) overall didn’t have a hot meal the whole time, everything was just tepid. Buffet variations and options for lunch and dinner were good plus all day dining in one area that was served to you so that was OK . Nice range of varied desserts. Positano restaurant next door was excellent and welcoming and you can book that included in an all inclusive stay. Definitely recommend Waves and they have an Asian themed restaurant too which was excellent, staff were great there too. Water sports with lots of options were really good , suggest take water shoes as whilst the beach is mainly sandy there are some rocks under water in the shallow parts . There is a reef CV lose by to swim and snorkel over which was great.
