The staff are always amazing here, the location is very good and the breakfast has lots of choice.||However, this time I stayed the room was a lot smaller than usual, it wasn’t that clean and the shower/bath tap was broken. None of this stuff would’ve provoked me to write a review because I wasn’t that bothered, but then added to the next thing and considering the price, it feels like standards have lowered.||The thing that really ruined the stay was being woken up at 7.15 by ridiculously loud drilling, I know this might not be the fault of the hotel but they could’ve at least warned guests that this was taking place because it disrupted any sort of sleep and after a days travelling to get here, it will impact the trip. There is absolutely no sleeping through it and it starts so early.

Convenient hotel near the main shopping street/centre and the subway. The breakfast is the best from all Brussels hotels and really worth its money(and I tried most of them).The sauna is a plus and the shower is great. The receptionists when checking in have a "not really interested or welcoming" attitude. TV (and radio!!) channels are great except for Dutch speakers. Beware at the time of writing this review there are construction works going on next to the hotel which start pretty early in the morning. Otherwise sleeping is not a problem. Still so far this is my favorite place to stay in Brussels.
