So glad we chose Eurostars Hotel for our week’s stay in Sofia. From the moment we arrived all the staff were friendly and helpful including reception, breakfast and housekeeping staff. A special thank you to Ava whose English was excellent and who helped sort out the right room for us. Our room at the front on 5th floor was spotless and very smart with a great shower and a range of toiletries available. Nice subtle lighting options for relaxing and reading lights and useful to have a kettle and mini bar fridge in the room. We loved the floor length window which opened for the view out and the air con was good when needed, too. Breakfast was a large help yourself choice of cereals, hot food, cheeses, pastries, cakes, breads, yoghurt, fruit, etc., and it took the whole week for us to try everything! (Note that the restaurant is no longer open other than for breakfast.)|The hotel location was perfect for us - just a short walk to the centre Serdika or the Nevski cathedral. It was also possible to walk to the station and to the Palace of Culture and many of the museums. There were plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in the streets around the hotel (we used Vino & Tapas, La Bicicletta, Taj Mahal and Supa Stars) and we had a great take away pizza from the little kiosk just down the street on our first evening. |We would happily stay again!
