Stayed here for 2 days mid-September 2023. It is a very nice family owned hotel, there always seems to be a friendly face around. I found the owner very helpful and knowledgeable. My room was very clean and even though I was at the front of the hotel it was very peaceful and quiet. They also have a restaurant nextdoor - Freddo, which has a nice selection of food, reasonably priced,. The hotel is a little outside Sofia. However from Vitosha metro, a few stops from Sofia city centre (and the location of a big shopping mall - Paradise Centre), the no. 64 bus will bring you to within 3 mins walk or so of the hotel. The hotel is very close to the Vitosha mountains - the foot of the waterfall circa 10 mins walk away. It is even closer to the famous Bayona church. I would love to stay there again if in the area.
Gem of a hotel. Just down the street from Boyana Church, with a lovely view of the mountains and plenty of breeze on the balcony. Also a nice cafe and restaurant right downstairs, with a small convenience store next door. The single rooms are small but perfectly clean and comfortable. Owner is kind and helpful and speaks English well. Getting an inexpensive taxi into the city center is easy via the TaxiMe app. Great choice if you want something a bit quieter and with excellent views.
