Poor customer service. You arrive at the Pousada and they ask you to sign a form full of rules that you must accept before staying there, eg: you must pay X reais if you dirty your towel, you must pay X reais if you lose your key, etc. So many rules and bad things to sign that you get a little shocked with the "warm" reception. After that, you may be disappointed again if you like to open the window of your room to breathe a fresh air on the beach. It is possible that you open the window of your standard room and find a lot of trash, rubbish, construction materials, and a thousand of dirty air-conditionings in a narrow corridor. My family was placed in a room with this kind of view so we complained at the reception saying that we could not open the window nor the curtains because everything was dirty and messy outside (pictures attached). Do you know what they told us? That we should pay 50 reais to be moved to a room with a better view because we have paid for a standard room (around 150 reais per night - one/two persons room). Why didn't they give us a better room as a way of saying sorry (and to make us comfortable)? Poor customer service. With regard to the location, it is good, close to the second beach. However, there is a lot of mud and water puddles on your way to the beach/restaurants if you go to Morro de São Paulo in a rainy season. The breakfast is tasty and nice. However, they don't have tapioca and there is just one or two options of bread.
