My family and I love the Iberostar. This was the second time we've been there and once again was a great and relaxing experience. Pros: 1) The resort has an amazing social project, where they employ and provide training to the neighbor community. 2) The resort is making the right effort on the direction of sustainability and compliance with the ESG best practices. 3) The Christmas dinner was excellent. 4) The kids & teens clubs offer tons of entertainment. Cons: 1) The quality of the food at the Thematic Restaurants dropped significantly. I had dinner at the Japanese restaurant and the food was terrible. My daughters went to the Italian one, and they hated the food too. 2) The rooms need to have smoke detectors. During two nights we woke up with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Someone at the rooms beside us was smoking in their rooms and the strong odor of cigarette smoke was being carried through the central AC system to our room. Every room should have smoke detectors and guests who violate the non-smoking policy should be heavily fined and immediately removed from the resort. Another highlight is the politeness of the whole staff. Excellent resort, probably the best one with all-inclusive packages in the whole Brazilian Northeast region.
