We just returned from a 7 night stay at Mangata Villas. It is exactly what we needed! The location in the north was remote enough to be out of the hustle and bustle but near enough to a few restaurants etc that we had options. Their on-site beach bar/pizzeria is perfect and run by Rody, who knows how to take care of you. I loved having a kitchen in our villa for some snacks and an easy breakfast, but the Moon Bar was perfect for ordering whichever drink I was in the mood for and the pizzas were excellent. The staff keeps the beach and the grounds very clean. Mangata's owners and staff have found the perfect balance of friendly and available but not intrusive. Their recommendations for golf cart rental (it's a thing on the island) and excursions were spot on. Justin and Jennifer, the owners, have a great vision for Mangata that seems to maintain the important things but bring in some great additions. We cannot wait to go back.
