Was my first time staying here. Staff were very friendly and easy to chat with. The hot breakfast in the morning was a wonderful addition to the stay. My only little detail that I will speak about, was that during our stay the pool was VERY heavy in chlorine, to the point that it was burning the eyes and skin on my daughter and wife, and to the point where it was actually a bit hard to breath when you were in the pool. I get it, it was smack in the middle of tourist season and they wanted to make sure that water was treated a little extra, buts its still something to keep in mind when you stay. Rooms were very clean and well kept, location was easy to find and had everything you would need within 10min if not closer.

I’m not sure how this hotel has the audacity to call themselves “luxury”. There is NOTHING luxury about this hotel. There’s not even a basic elevator on the side of the hotel where we they put us. When we arrived we were told we our room was “unique” has there are no elevators to the second floor. The instructions on how to get to our room was not clear resulting in my husband and I hauling 3 luggage’s up and down the stairs and looking for our room. I went back to the front asking them how to get to my room. The supervisor was nice however he didn’t bother asking me if I wanted help with my bags nor did he make sure we knew how to get to my room. He walked me halfway and pointed to the door. Upon going upstairs to our room, we noticed there was an extremely strong musky smell in the hallway. The carpet looked Iike it hasn’t been vacuumed for over 10 years. This side of the building, without the elevator, was even more outdated and run down than the other side. It was actually very creepy for me. There are no windows in our room that facing the outside, we had a large window facing the old hallway. Our room and bathroom was again outdated but thankfully clean. The AC is super loud and sounds like I’m in a factory. I’m in the hospitality industry and I’ll tell you, this hotel needs a massive makeover and Reno’s. You can tell they put no money into maintaining this property. No I would not recommend, especially if you are travelling alone.
