We had a giftcard for the Blue Whale suite which costs upwards of $300 per night with tax. We would not have bought a night here. It would not be worth the cost. The hot tubs chemicals bleached my swim suit, my partner was bothered by how strong the smell of the chemical water was, and he has used other hot tubs before. The fuzzy blue robes which were available for guests smelled of sweat, maybe they did not get washed before our stay. There is no sink for the kitchen area and there are strict rules posted all over the room and premises. You also receive many emails with instructions to check in and out including one the morning of check out. It felt like you had to follow a lot of rules and could not get very comfortable. Unfortunately, despite this being the nicest room you can opt for, we were woken up at 7:30am by someone else in a neighbouring room walking around and making banging noises, then again at 9am by a repetitive noise from a neighbours tv being left on or something of the sort. It was nice to go on a vacation, but again if we did not have a gift certificate we certainly would not pay the price for this room. The location is great, rural NL is always worth the trip, but I would not spend my money to stay here.
