We have stayed here a few times and it was never great but this time it was the worst!! The entrances smell so bad you have to hold your nose. Then as you walk in further you can smell a perfume kind of smell that’s strong. It’s easy to tell they’re trying to mask the smell. When we got here the man who checked us in was very rude. Like we were bothering him by showing up. I’m thinking his name was reji or something like that. The rooms aren’t cleaned properly at all. As soon as we walked into our room we called the front desk to complain about something broken in our room but nobody answered the phone. The noise was so frustrating, the girl next to us was screaming on the phone all night and we could hear every word. Again, we called the front desk and no answer… the next morning I could hear people up over me screaming.. there was someone playing music all night and the next morning the housekeeping was so loud I had to get up and leave. I’m not sure what they were doing but the banging and thumping was unbelievable. The loudest night/morning I have ever spent at a hotel. I was trying to have a nap because I had to go to the airport to drop someone off at 3:30 in the morning and had a four hour drive in order to get back home. We will not be staying here anymore.

Simply fantastic. The St. John's Sandman Signature suites is a fantastic hotel situated in close proximity to Downtown St. John's, but still far enough to be in the suburbs area to allow for less noise and less traffic. If you rent a car you're within a 10 min drive to the main sights and areas of the city. The room I ordered is a 2 Queen bed, 1 sofa bed room and check in went smoothly. The receptionists were kind and welcoming, and the lobby well maintained and elegantly designed! The room on the 3rd floor was located in a finely lit hall with comfortable carpeting. The room contained all the amenities you need including many towels and toiletries, and teabags. The room was clean (on the surface, I have no UV light to confirm microscopic bacteria or stain) and looked fresh! The linen and bedding was fantastic. The washroom has a nice mirror with a ring light around it so that was cool for sure. The room space is big enough and no complaints with the Air Con. All in all this room and hotel was excellent. In the morning you don't have free breakfast but it's connected to Moxie grill and Denny all day diner. They have a coffee station which was fantastic to use. I 10/10 recommend. Of course, no hotel is perfect but for what you're paying here you are getting a ton of stuff. Recommend!!!!!!!
