Stayed here in 2012 first time and again this year in July of 2023. This is an older building and nothing like the newer ones. A bit tricky to find once you come off the highway.Lots of bushes hide it. Drive to the back and you'll find it. It is right near the Irving Gas station which has a massive restaurant and souvenir shop. The rooms are small but clean and nice. You can enter into the hallway and go down to the front desk or do the same in the morning for breakfast that they offer. You can back your car right up to the door and just throw your luggage on the bed. These style of motels were built back in the 1940's and are getting harder and harder to find. The rates are fantastic for this time of year in the summer when everyone travels. I found the bed a bit soft for my liking. I had to get the desk clert to show me how the remotes work as there are two of them. One for the volume and the other for the channels. Nice place for a few nights. Will stay here again when heading east.
