When we arrived at our room, the bathroom smelled heavily of sewage coming from the shower drain. Luckily, it was possible to get rid of the smell by showering and thus pouring water down the drain. Furthermore, there were approximately 15 mosquitos in the bathroom, which needed to be addressed. Last but not least, only one bathrobe and one large towel was available in a room for two. Probably, the room has not been used in quite some time, which would be OK, if at least it would have been checked prior to the arrival. As to the breaktfast, the quality of the food as well as the selection of it was average at best and very limited, respectively. Also, one was not served coffee or eggs, but had to get them oneself. In summary, the hotel is far too expensive for the offered level of quality and the lack of attention to (not only) detail.
