It does not matter if you stay here for business and/or for pleasure resp. privately. I (was forced) to travel to Montreux for a meeting, only 1 day prior knowledge before the gathering there. (Musicbusiness etc.) To be real clear about everything: If you want to experience Switzerland the way it is; or better the way it should be, YOU MUST stay - in my humble opinion - at the Montreux Palace. It's unique in Switzerland; most likely the world. The Staff from the Concierge, to Nathan, CEO Michael and most indeed including and especially Edmee and Franziska, worldclass, at it's finest. I contacted Edmee resp. the reservation only 1 day prior to our arrival (I took the family along); within 30 Minutes everything was set up, organized and communicated. Thanks again dear Edmee & Michael. You'll miss nothing there at the Palace. The food and Breakfast Buffet is top notch, highest quality; and the rooms quiet, spacious; with lots of Charme; extremely clean. The Spa ist worldclass, the Garage and plug in stall for the EV pratical; the Garden sensational; the Gym extraordinary. We, as a single person and as a family, hightly recommend a stay at the Montreux Palace, discover the area nearby, the mountains around including the village Ceux and its natural Icefield in Ceux. It does NOT MATTER if it's season or not, its one of the best Hotels in the world. Made only by the disdinguished staff (next to the architeture), that runs it naturally the simple and common way: With their big hearts! The service does not feel "artificial and / or too "slimey"; just natural. If you want to experience the most possible and indeed the best experience ever, mixing culture and vacation; I must most indeed higly recommend a visit during the world's most influential Music-Festival of all. The Montreux Jazz festival during summer. This is - no doubt - the Cherry on the Cake; if you can make it. Just as a little hint, we stayed last summer at a table (during the night outdoors, curbside) only as a coinsident with Rock Legend from the World Class Rock Band Krokus, Chris von Rohr, and Switzerland's Ex Federal President and current Federal Financial Minister, his excellency, Ueli Maurer. Firstly we didn't know them, everybody was on "first name bases" on the table, until we recognized all the inquiries for selfies with them (way past midnight); no bodyuards or other security. That's Switzerland; easy going, that's the Palace, just as it is (at the bar a few members of Deep Purple were having a good time). Thank you again, we will call again. The W's with Brunhilde vS
