I stayed at the Egina Hotel for about 2 weeks. The location for my needs was perfect. Two blocks away from a great mall and close to all the places I needed to visit in a short time. The breakfast buffet and staff was outstanding. Fresh fruit and juices and nice display of breads, cheeses, jam and the hot dishes. The hotel does need a bit of updating. My room had a leak in the ceiling. No coffee machine and very small old refrigerator. One important thing to note is that there is construction going on outside next door so you wont be able to sleep past 6am. I wish they would have mentioned it before I reserved. Other than that based on value I would stay there again.
I gotta say, coming to Colombia is a tradition in my family. I came to this hotel, the location was a great clean area, but a lot of cars going by especially with a mall nearby. The service was absolutely excellent. The staff was absolutely incredible, so kind. If you ask for anything, they will get it for you. Rooms, could be a bit bigger, it was very very clean but, it felt a bit tight to be in. I would definitely come back to this hotel especially the breakfast, having a wide variety enhances the experience of having a Colombian breakfast.
