This is "The BEST place to stay on 70 Street!" A week long, fabulous, mid-September stay. Had a suite with a king size bed and Jacuzzi for 5 nights and then switched for 2 nights to a huge room with a king bed and a balcony! Johanna, Manuela, the maintenance guy, the restaurant servers, the cook and even the plumber and electrician were excellent! I was well attended to and really felt that everyone was going out of their way to make my stay great! Can't thank them enough! Breakfast was superb and I tipped EVERYONE (even left them some beers in the fridge!). It costs a bit more, but great location, amenities, service and convenience to EVERYTHING (bars, metro, restaurants, university, tours, grocery stores, beauty salons, etc ...) made is so worth it!

Being born a local... literally from la 70 I knew I was going in to a very loud area. But in need of a medical treatment we chose this location. THE ROOM & SERVICE are amazing. Nothing to envy to any chain or 5 statr hotel, the beds are comfy and the AC works perfect. THE NOISE: if you are not going to party, this isn't your spot. I couldn't sleep any of the nights. My child husband and I would wake up by 5, 6, and even 7. Am with the loud bangs of the all night music. It was a nightmare for light sleepers. I used rain sounds to try to dissipate but not even. The front desk guys and restaurant were INCREDIBLE also the maintenance guy. They need another location.
