Zoëtry Curaçao Resort and Spa is a great place to go if you want to relax and unwind. I believe the appeal is that there are less activities to do overall, but that may be by design. As an added bonus, you get access to the Dreams resort which is within a very short walking distance but they always have a shuttle to take you. I ended up using the shuttle nearly every day to go back and forth between using the beach, getting different food, or just as a change of scenery. There is no beach directly on Zoëtry, but again with the shuttle you can go to the beach portion located at Dreams. The food was good, not incredible but also not disappointing. They had one restaurant, either outside or inside available for dinner, and they slightly changed their menu every day. Once you order you wait for your food, typically about an hour or so, and it's given to you with nice representation. There is no buffet style dining here, so throughout the day you order and wait to be served. Thankfully if you want buffet style, you can go to Dreams. Overall we were impressed with the rooms and the kindness of the staff. I know people around us felt as though they were not served to their expectations (we certainly heard people talking quite loudly about it), but as a place to go and enjoy quiet time away from the noise, it does exactly what it needs to do. I only wish staffing was a bit higher to accommodate everyone's needs more quickly, but I think based on the time we went, all the staff were probably migrated to help at Dreams where everyone else was.
Resort was gorgeous. Room was spectacular. Very nice and friendly staff. Our only complain was that food service was very slow. It took more than an hour to have breakfast. It took more than 90min to get room service. It’s about a $20 cab ride from Willemstad, which is no big deal. The beach area is still under construction, but I’m sure it will be gorgeous when completed. The swimming area is quite rocky. I would suggest bringing water shoes as it helps. Being able to use the facilities at Dreams is also nice. The tiny casino is a cute little addition. Overall, a great experience.
