A great hotel in terms of comfort and location; it’s on the very corner at the top of Václavské Náměstí opposite The Národní Muzeum. Go downhill and you’re in a maelstrom of tourists; uphill and you can be in the heart of Vinohrady in 10 minutes (quieter, classier and you’re not paying tourist premiums in the bars and restaurants).||Our room was 402, a bit too close to the lift late at night but a fine room, great shower and a balcony looking right at Muzeum. The shower was great, and the double-glazing eradicated street noise completely. ||Metro is on the doorstep as is a mini-market and plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes.||Breakfast offered a great choice in a nice area set aside from reception. ||I’d definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel for a 4 night stay for my wifes 50th. On arrival we were upgrade to a top floor suite with cake and a bottle of fizz in our room, and a fantastic view of the museum just across the road which lit up at night. The hotel is spotless and comfortable with towels changed everyday and rooms cleaned. Its an ideal location right on the corner of Wenceslas Square with shops and restaurants in walking distance. Its around a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Charles bridge but buses trams and taxis are everywhere to use to get around. The only small thing I could complain about is the breakfast. Hot breakfast choice was only scrambled egg, hot dog type sausage, bacon and porridge. You can get fruit and yogurt or meat and cheeses but its mainly pastries and cakes. The choices where fresh and tasty but I though being a 5 star it lacked options. Overall we had a great stay and the staff where helpful and polite. I would recommend staying here.
