Staff very welcoming and friendly. Nice size room very clean and well presented. Pleasant bar and reception area. The hotel is about 12 minutes walk to the old town. Other reviewers have commented on the neighbourhood and OK it’s not very salubrious but it’s perfectly safe. No burning cars or riot police and lots of singles walking alone. The area is well lit too. Possibly the biggest risk to life is the steep and long climb up the steps back to the hotel but in other parts of the world eg Whitby and Pollensa it’s a tourist attraction! There are a couple of lifts and a funicular if you want to make things easier. |The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. I didn’t have an evening meal there. Generally hotel meals are overpriced and anyway they can’t compare to the buzz and variety of the bars and restaurants a short walk away|I enjoyed my time here.

Pretty disappointing for a 4 stars, rooms are worn out, location is a tat out of center and away from most of the POI, along a road and no restaurants or bars around. |It has a parking, 20 euro a day, rooms are quiet if on the back and overseeing the city landscape, since the venue is on a hill.| I was changed rooms 3 times, the entry type rooms at 78 euros a night are only twin beds, you need to pay another 15 euros for a queen bed (never seen this in my life), then I was put in a room reeking of cigarette smell, last one was passable on 7th floor, with a nice view. For 1 night on a business trip this place is tolerable. Defintiely not a good tourism hotel nor practical in any way for much business travellers neither. |Breakfast was good though, nice choice and quality products too
