A popular hotel in the Spanish town of La Línea de la Concepción not far from the border crossing to Gibraltar. The hotel has a good range of stay and dining options. Staff are very responsive and always quick to respond to guest questions. The late checkout time at 12 noon is also handy for those wanting to catch the afternoon flights to the UK at the Gibraltar Airport that is less than quarter an hour on foot.

Our room needed redecorating , the ceiling had what appeared to be mold spots on it , in the bathroom above the shower head we had a large "crusty" patch on the ceiling that possibly was caused by a leak in the room above. I complained the room was cold and the room heating was not working, the hall way was warmer. I was told by reception that there were 2 systems Aircon and room heating , both were off , heating was available the second night. Meals !! . We had 3 breakfasts and 2 evening meals ALL hot meals from the buffet bar were COLD. The heat lamps although on gave out no heat. the water bath below the food was not operating . Food was typically tasted greasy and did not look appetising. When I pointed out the issue with the food I was told to use a microwave near the buffet bar. The hotels location was good , an easy walk to the border. I have not embellished this account.
