La Hospederia Del Monasterio

We arrived latish to Seville and were going straight on to Granada by car, so we wanted to stop somewhere in between. We chose the Hospederia in Osuna, and were very glad we did. Not only is it about an hour and a bit from Seville, but the hotel is a little gem. Perched up on a hill, next to the monastery, the views are lovely. There is a small, but convenient, pool surrounded by a very nice terrace. Great for the kids in the afternoon.||||What we really liked about the Hospederia, though, was its restaurant. Eating by the pool, the restaurant is a rare find. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I would go back for the food alone, but the hotel is also very quite and picturesque. ||||One problem was the room. It was of a good size and clean, but there were only windows on one side, so there was no chance of a cross-draught. Unless you like sitting in a dark room with the air conditioning running 24-7, get a room with windows on two sides.
