If you like this reviews give it a 👍 5 minutes read and check out the pictures! Keep in mind we paid €137,50 a night excluded breakfast at €8,80 p.p. and parking (€9,00 a day). Hotel: Claims to be a 3 star hotel but a few amenities and a minibar with 4 star prices does not make you a 3 star hotel. More is needed. The hotel corridors smell musty, have dirty carpets and are painted in "hospital" white. Room doors are a little damaged. The whole "cries out" for a renovation (and cleaning!). Check-in on automatic pilot...we didn't felt welcome. Second contact with receptionist was slightly more positive. Third and last disappointing. We were almost checked out still finalizing, when the phone rang. She picked up the phone, started talking in Baskisch, turned (here body) away from us and didn't payed any attention or even say goodbye.... It's also a pity that the terrace is set up at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning in a fairly noisy way, so that you are awakened from your sleep quite roughly. Parking and WiFi (free of charge) available. 35 minutes walk to the city center and 15 minutes by bus (€1,65), walk to the bus station included. Room: Small with old, smelly and dirty carpet. First thing we did was opening the window to get som fresh air in and the musty and smokey smell out (in which we didn't succeeded). Furniture from the sixties and damaged. Bed is small and has a spring mattress, not very pleasant since you can feel the springs poking in your back. One long pillow for two persons not very comfortable. 2 small pillows without cover so unusable. "Hotel radio" system from the sixties (please, take it out). A computer monitors size, although the most are way bigger today, TV. An empty, minibar with 4star prices...if there would be items available. We could hear the neighbors talking although they weren't that loud. When they took a shower it sounds like they are standing next to your bed. Room has air-conditioning and a window to open. Bathroom. Very small...At first glance it seems clean, but if you look further it could use a good cleaning (like the rest of the place). Old fashion water taps and fixtures. The toilet seat is loose and makes a loud bang when you sit on it. Toilet paper is hanging next to the bathtub so if you take a shower....the toilet paper gets wet. If you take a shower, which I assume you do, watch out for the water temperature. Within a fraction of a second it changes from normal to extremely hot and back again (again and again). We found out, after experimenting a little, that if you don't open the taps all the way, this problem is less. Sufficient amenities and towels of decent quality. Breakfast: There is no staff present with exception of the receptionist who is sitting behind her desk. The breakfastroom is partly a little odd, dark, cluttered room with some tables, a cart with junk on it, etc. The quality of the coffee is questionable, a kind of instant coffee. The rest of the small buffet.... let's say I had much better for the same price. Parking: The garage is fairly easy to reach and certainly not the least spacious. There is, however, a humid air, the smell of which also lingers in the car. So ventilate the car well after leaving the garage, the damp, moldy air is not healthy. Overall: Sorry to say but not even 1 star, not recomendable unless you like to go back to the sixties with 2025 prices.
