The rooms and the hotel itself were very nice, clean, and well kept in general. It is a distance from the old town and beach but in a quiet residential area which can be nice to get away from some of the bustle of the center. My struggle with the hotel is the consistency in service and hospitality. Some representatives where very kind and attentive, especially the night reception. The bar and restaurant was the hit and miss. Instead of a consistent approach of being welcoming and customer friendly it seemed to be more of a burden to ask for service. The food was very good and especially in the the formal restaurant. The service though was not and mostly uncomfortable. I will say that some did provide kind service but that was infrequent. We attempted to offer proper greetings and thank yous but not always reciprocated. This assessment of the service seemed to held by many in my group. Hopefully that can be a focus for the hotel to improve and help round out the overall experience.

Lovely hotel and helpfull staff. Bit of a faff getting to the location. Dinner was good value and breakfast passed the Spanish croissant test
