It's an alright hotel that feels like it's sort of stuck in limbo between being fancy and accessible and comes up short on both. Rooms: quite big and with absolutely fantastic views! But also in need of refurbishing and with very thin walls. (Also most rooms are interconnected which means you can really hear everything your neighbour is doing and saying) Service: Nothing to complain about, everyone was friendly and helpful when needed! Breakfast: Quite good buffet! Good selection and good taste. Nothing extraordinary. Amenities: Very nice pool with sunbeds and a lil bar! No spa or similar. Wi-Fi is horrendous, often gone for an hour+ at a time. Location: Yes and no. Best view of San Sebastian there is, no doubt. But simply too far from town, especially when the place itself doesn't offer much to make you want to spend the day there. Taxi to the centre is around 10-12€ and takes 15min. Funicular + bus is around 4€ but can take you up to an hour and it closes around 21 as well, so you must take a taxi back. All in all it's a nice place, but there are better and more practical hotels for visiting San Sebastian. And if you want a "resort" type hotel, I'm sure there are better options there as well.

The city view rooms with balcony are spectacular, the best in San Sebastian. You can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the room. The hotel itself is very clean and has great facilities including a beautiful rooftop pool with incredible views also. The only disappointing aspect was that we were given a room which converts to a family room . There was absolutely no privacy. The couple next door came in at 1am and argued for 2 hours where every word could be heard. The hotel could not offer us another room with balcony for the remaining nights. We found the bed set up poor as they were single beds pushed together and made up separately and were too hard. I would love to go back again only if I got a double bed and no connecting door to another room. The breakfast dining room has also the most beautiful views that you won't forget.
