Individual thermostat control doesn’t allowing to determine the temperature. 22hours later we still didn’t reach the temperature in the room for our own convenience. In the bathroom you can find one electric heater, but unfortunately somehow it is still not capable to heat up that room either. Air conditioning supposed to work as a heating option above the bed. The warm air should come out from two places but only one is working. Until a few minutes you can feel that is working properly but after that cold wind is blowing out. Now you feel lucky that is coming only from one place. We made a last minute booking with reasons but it is nowhere said you are not able to do that. Check-in was smooth, but we got a keycard which was not working and also no warnings about our quick arrival. We reached in the end a superior room, in an outside building, such a pity too. In that building air conditioning blowing also cold air. In the room it was freezing, but it was not a surprise because everything was turning off, but we were understandable because of our own reasons, turned on all the heating devices and waited patiently to reach some convenient temperature to be able to try to have a shower. After an hour nothing changed, no signs of any heating power. We went back again to the reception inquiring is it normal, did we do something wrong. They said the air conditioning can’t blow cold air because its general function in this time of the year. After checking the room they said maybe something is wrong because the air conditioning has not much sound and it is blowing cold air. They offered to leave for a few hours than come back and maybe after that all will be fine, then the warning came out because we arrived last minute and too quickly they couldn’t prepared the room for our arrival. Hotelier rule number one you don’t give a room what is definitely not ready! First room was missing the heating and also some general equipments. I would also say that was one of the weakest one in its category. In the end they offered an other superior room next to the first one where they said checked and heating is working properly. Yes sometimes, but still more cold air coming out than warm. During the night our wet clothes couldn’t dry out, so the temperature it is not only a personal preference question. I was waking up the cold wind blowing into my head and neck. If you are sensitive you will get sick from it. I am not but still have pain. We were hoping the room reach at least 22 degrees and it is going to shut down, didn’t happened. In the morning we left the room. Housekeeping were there, shut again everything off. Even though generally there is a keycard to keep the electricity on when you are outside the room, (and I think should be normal when the only heating is depending on it!), but it was taken just little bit off to make this situation even more confusing and worst. The room is cold again, clothes still wet, and we payed already for two nights. Big mistake and such a shame for this architecturally privileged place. As other comments also suggesting just admire the building outside.
