I give two stars and not one for: - comfortable bed - more or less friendly attitude - good looking corridors There were many problems though which made me give this harsh rating to the hostel: - no Covid protection measures, no masks worn by staff, etc. - cockroaches in the room (in the winter!) can mean only one thing: filth in the building. - smelly mushroom/mold on the wall (photos attached) - the cleaning service took the towel and didn't replace it with a new one - disappearing electricity - the reception is 24h only in theory. In practice it depends on which particular of the 24 hours you mean - they said there would be wifi data in my room, there was no and I couldn't find/call anyone of the reception until next day - air conditioning directly above bed. - no response to SMS or emails during the stay - no English (a normal thing in this region, but in some other places they make better effort at reaching good communication). All in all, I chose to move to another nearby hostel, where the price was only slightly higher but it made a really huge difference. The next day I moved I heard from my friends who also stayed at Rocío independently and also chose to go somewhere else because of the cockroaches.
