Hotel is situated perfectly for a stay in Cardiff Bay and close to the restaurants, bars and attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable just maybe not as luxurious as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, for example poor coffee making facilities, small bathrooms, poor water pressure in shower. Was disappointed to have to pay a £50 deposit upon checking and when queried it was a security deposit however no mini bar in room so unsure what charges could have been levied against it. Also note a hefty £24 was charged for overnight parking which although charged by a private company I would like to think a 5 star hotel would subsidise some if not all of the charge.
