In the last year, I have been staying here at Semiramis Hotel for 178 nights. It is hard to briefly sum up my stay here, but what comes to mind is perfection. Service: Firstly, words cannot describe the excellent level service the hotel staff and management provide - they are professional, attentive, polite, punctual, friendly, warm and kind. They litterally are the best. Even from day one to day 178... they have been consistently perfect. Food: The food is really good... didn't get sick of it over my time here. Lots of variety. At night the restaurant by the pool is called Freud Oriental Athens, which is highly regarded as one (if not the best) Japanese restaurant in Athens. The sushi there is beyond amazing, thanks to Chef Reno. It is the best that I have had outside of Japan. And the cocktails are top notch (best vodka martini on the planet made by Rommel). Hotel: The hotel property is quite large, which is makes you feel really comfortable. The building has a cool retro, art deco style design. The rooms are nice and very clean. The cleaning staff are on top of everything and extremely friendly. Work wise, the rooms have a great layout, even the standard sized rooms. They have very sizable and useable desks for work. Was easily able to house my laptop, a second usb powered monitor and still have room to write notes... and lots of plug outlets right there. Amenities: Its got an excellent swimming pool and area. There is a good sized gym with lots of equipment. The free underground parking is awesome, as trying to find parking in Athens and even Kifisia is typically difficult. Location: The hotel is in a great location. Lots of excellent restaurants and bars nearby, as well as shopping. Tree-lined streets are wide and pedestrian friendly... which sometimes is hard to find in Athens. Also, its easy to get to from everywhere (even the airport), as you can take the national highway and bypass the congested downtown area. This place has become my home away from home... and the people that work here are my second family. I highly recommend this hotel. It is the best.

Pro: nicely situated in almost Center of Kifissia. 5-10 minutes by foot and you're among boutiques and brand shops with Banks and atms. You may go to different direction and get some local restaurants with much better kitchen and 2 times less price. If you're lazy to go somewhere, there's a club just on the ground floor. If you struggle to go somewhere, you may enjoy gym in ground floor (it is small, but you may find much smaller in different hotel), Turkish bath and open swimming pool as well. Cons: this is not 4 star hotel (or how much stars they claim). This very good 3 star with cosy rooms, and sometimes terrace. There's no bathroom, only shower in the rooms, and rooms a really small, especially if you speak about superior rooms. For 1 person it is feasible, for 2 - I would think twice. In general, it is nice place to stay because of its environment, however I would not recommend it for very long stay for couples.
