A fantastic hostel, great value for money and incredibly clean rooms. Little bit of a walk from the centre of town but honestly worth it for what you get. I stayed in the 10 bed bunk, good quality curtains (super private), usb sockets and fan also. Awesome kitchen set up with ability to cook for yourself, a nice rooftop to sit or workout and they were happy to look after my bags while I went hiking up the volcanos.
Barbara’s was the perfect hotel in Antigua for a reasonable price. The building haas been recently renovated and is very well maintained. The rooms are impeccably clean, spotless. The shower is everything you want, hot and great pressure. The bed extremely confortable with a copy warm quilt for those cool antigua nights. There is breakfast included which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, obviously well trained in hospitality. It is in a great location, near to things but not noisy at all. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.
