Juliantos by the sea

Juliantos is amazing. Wonderfully located in a peaceful part of the island yet close enough - in both directions - to easily be in the 'thick of things' should one choose. It's a maximum ten minute walk to two great yoga studios. If one wants to get up early one can literally step out the front and witness the most amazing sunrise and follow-it-up with sunrise snorkelling which feels like one is swimming in an aquarium. The water is warm and clear and if one is fortunate you may get to swim with the turtles who are often just off the shore. My requirements for a room are lots of natural light, good internet, a comfortable bed, hot water and a desk and my room definitely meets all those requirements. All rooms have a porch/balcony and the staff are just lovely. Breakfast is served while overlooking the sea out to the island of Lombok or on request the staff are kind enough to bring it to your room. A new menu means you can also eat your other meals at Juliantos but if you want to head out I have to say the choices are almost unlimited and it may be that it's impossible to have a bad meal on the island. The staff are so accomodating that I asked if it was possible to have my queen sized bed moved to face a different direction and this was done in no time.I just love Juliantos and consider and feel so comfortable when here I feel like I have come home.
