This hotel has become my go-to choice when visiting Jakarta. It is located in a central area, and you can walk to Grand Indonesia, one of Jakarta's biggest malls. The rooms are spacious, apartment-like, equipped with a washing machine, a complete set of cooking utensils, an induction stove with a cooker hood, a water dispenser, a two-door refrigerator, a sofa, and even a hot tub in their smallest room. Although the hotel somewhat looks old, especially the exterior, it appears well-maintained. I love the smell of the aisles as well. I have stayed here on three different occasions and have mixed feelings about their breakfast. My first stay was quite good, but the last two stays were not too bad, just okay. The staff is friendly and very helpful; even the security guys brought me food from the ojek online to my room, which is not common in other hotels. Oh, one more thing! There's a tennis court where you can freely play when you stay in this hotel, even though the surface is quite bumpy, and the fence is too close to the sidelines. I had fun playing here with my friends!
Great place if you're on business and want convenience. Breakfast definitely need improvement as I usually skip and only had eggs and fruits because rest of stuffs doesn't taste good even though there is variety. The pool is small and only good for dipping and not proper swim. The housekeeping staff - Aldo is exceptionally good. Compared to all my very frequent travel across many hotels that are 4-5 stars Aldo make sure the room is super clean and very attentive to detail. He is very polite and always carry a smile with him even if it's end of day cleaning so many rooms are getting tired. He will make sure the stay is comfortable whenever you walk into the room after his cleaning and makes you feel like home. He will be able to gauge what amenties you need after staying for one or two nights and he will ensure those amenties are in the right place and make sure everything is neat and in accordance to your preference. One of the rare good housekeeping staff of this hotel. Deserve a recognition by the hotel. Lastly this place has a fantastic GM Patrick who took swift action and pay special attention and spend his time to take care of all needs of loyal customer.
