Family of 25 of us stayed here on the 2nd for a visit to Santa in Aillwee caves. Dinner was booked in advance, but they still did not seem prepared for for us. Dining area was freezing, the food when it did arrive was cold, some of the steaks were rank, some battered cod was just batter, empty inside, how they pulled that off, is beyond me. Breakfast was no better. Our room, while it looked OK, it had a funky smell, I can actually still smell it off of my clothes. There seemed to be a lot more families there for Santa as well, so maybe it was an opportunity to score big time. Anyway, we got no satisfaction from them, but sure what would you expect. Won't be going anywhere near that place again.
