The Lodge at Harvey's Point

My wife and I have just enjoyed our first, but not our last, visit to Harvey’s Point Hotel. |From the moment we arrived, we realised that this is a special place with a wonderful welcome from the reception staff. |We were shown to our executive suite - a fabulously large room, which was beautifully furnished and decorated, and a lovely bathroom with huge bath and separate shower. |Evening one we dined in Harvey’s Bar and enjoyed a relaxed evening and were very well looked after by Barman Paul. |Next morning a fabulous selection of food for breakfast, made even more pleasant by the friendly and gracious service headed up by Roisin. The view over the lake with snow covered mountains was spectacular. |Later in the day we thoroughly enjoyed the fun-filled complimentary cookery demonstration from chef Louise, and the informative wine tasting presented by Orhan, the food and beverage manager. |Dinner that evening was superb - food of a very high quality served by Geraldine, with a perfect accompaniment of Bordeau red suggested to us by Orhan. |We had the most wonderful relaxing time in this fine hotel made very special by the friendly attentiveness of one of the best hotel staff teams that we have encountered. |We really look forward to our next visit!
