Only stayed one night but would have loved more. Very clean comfortable room, cleanest bathroom ever! Superb food, especially the outstanding breakfast, served up by the most friendly, welcoming and inclusive hosts to be found on the island of Ireland. Oh, and incredibly hospitable to our dog, who they treated as a special guest. Next time we'll book earlier to make sure of getting all the time we want.
Absolute disgraceful hotel. Had dinner here for the first weekend in September. Overpriced and bland. Ordered bacon and cabbage 17.50 for a half portion of bacon and cabbage. No vegeterian options on the menu whatsoever and when staff were asked about it I was told they used to on the old menu but there a new menu just for the festival with inflated prices I'm sure. Only option I had was a toasted sandwich which came out ten minutes after the bacon and cabbage. Toasted tomato and peppers no cheese no onion. Unacceptable. Ten euros and hadn't even the decency to serve it on a plate with side salad and chips. Received in a basket and a portion of chips which had to be ordered separately at the cost of another five euro. No fault of wait staff beautiful friendly girl served us but management are so deluded over portions, prices and options. Ruined my night even more to my disappointment a local recommended the hotel. I'm sure it's a beautiful place to eat at any other time of the year.
