Let me start by saying that I booked this hotel after looking at the reviews on Google. 4+ made me think it’s a good place to stay. I am sharing my experience of booking this hotel, so please bear with me for the length of the review. After going through most positive reviews I booked a family suite for a night. On reaching the hotel we found it difficult to park the car infront the hotel but the driver skilfully managed, blocking a lane in the process. Once checked in we followed the staff to our room. Mind you there are no elevators, this is clearly mentioned on booking platforms as well. On entering the room, the first thing we saw were paints flaking off the wall, at multiple places surrounding the bathroom. Not a very hygienic sight, considering it happens due to water seepage and a lot of it was behind the commode. The pillows and the pillow covers looked outdated and worn out. There were cob webs on the walls, One point though, you have to pay extra for a heater. IT IS NOT PART OF THE ROOM PACKAGE. Water bottles are plastic bottles, one of them were twisted seemingly due to hot water poured in it. Carpets were filthy, reminded me of Kitchen Nightmare show of Gordon Ramsay. Didn’t feel like walking barefoot inside the room. Location wise it is a 10min walk from Keventers and it’s not a flat walk. TV worked, that was a great thing considering the overall room.
