Rooftop dining overlooking the lit up fort made for a special setting for dinner. Food was truly delicious as we tried the chicken tikka and the lamb biryani. The service was a little slow but they were packed with westerners on vacation. A great way to escape the hustle bustle of the market but be in the heart of the city.
We were originally booked to stay at another hotel on the outskirts of Jodhpur but changed it to Pal Haveli on the advice of our naturalist. It was the best decision we could have taken. Situated bang in the middle of the old city, Pal Haveli is an oasis in the middle of what one may only call 'organized chaos'. A bustling city with so much to do, Jodhpur is an experience that shouldn't be missed. And Pal Haveli is best situated a stone's throw away from everything that's exciting about this quaint old city. The rooms are very comfortable and are only topped by the amazing service, delicious food, and the mind-blowing view of the Mehrangarh fort from the rooftop restaurant. If you're planning a visit to Jodhpur, there's no better place to stay than the Pal Haveli. |
